Participation - Participants: About 200 Japanese, German and international students and young people, generally between 18 and 30 years of age.
- Fees: 45,000 Yen incl. 5,000 Yen admission fee to be transferred after admission.
Friendship Fee Option: 2 or more friends who apply together will get a fee discount per person
(2 to 4 friends = 2,000 Yen discount per person, 5 to 9 friends = 3,000 Yen discount per person, 10 or more friends = 5,000 Yen discount per person) after admission.

- Fees do include group transportation in Tokyo, accommodation in single rooms for 10 nights (12th to 21st August) and meals at Yoyogi NYC, group entrance fees, program parties and insurance.
Note: Japanese young people can choose to apply either for the Youth Week or for the Youth Summit, all other students and young people can only apply for the Youth Week.
There can be no pro rata reduction for participants living in Tokyo. All participants will stay in NYC accommodation facilities to make the most of the cultural exchange and group experience. Fees do not include (international) travel/flight costs to Tokyo, Japan. Young people from Germany may book and get to Japan with a group flight organized by DJJG.
What else? - Youth Week languages: Japanese, German and English.
Note: Participants should have basic foreign language skills in at least one of the above languages as experience tells that all of the above languages will be used on occasion. Main Youth Week/Summit language will be English, followed by Japanese and German. This flagship event brings together program partner representatives and participants from across the world.
